Next to the dunes you will find Puerto Remedios Beach and, as part of the Dunas de Corralejo Natural Park, you will find Playa del Médano. In this protected area of the natural park there are several types of beaches, of fine and golden sand, of rocks, some small coves and other large beaches that stretch for kilometers. The beaches of the north of the park are more extensive and offer more facilities, those of the south are rather smaller, and there you will find few services. If you like nature, this area will be the best choice, as these beaches are more isolated. Also, these spots are most appreciated by lovers of nudism.

If nature and observation are your thing, we suggest you take an excursion to the volcanoes of Corralejo. The area known as ‘Montaña Colorada – Bayuyo’ is an extension of about 5 kilometers in length where rise several aligned volcanoes. In fact, you can start your trip through the Bayuyo Volcano in Corralejo.

When you visit the area, what you surely cannot miss is the Corralejo Natural Park – the park of the dunes, a wonderful desert landscape with more than 2600 hectares of sand bathed by turquoise blue waters that will take away your sense.
