Where do you find the camping of La Graciosa?

Keep in mind that the La Graciosa island is a Natural Park and, therefore, a protected area. That means that free camping is not allowed. To do this, you must apply for a camping permit online several months in advance.

On the beach of “El Salado“, next to Caleta de Sebo (main urban centre of La Graciosa), the Cabildo of Lanzarote enabled a few years ago a free camping area to help travellers enjoy this experience that is so popular among nature lovers.

To go camping in La Graciosa, you must board a ferry in Lanzarote to the port of Caleta de Sebo. The journey only lasts 25 minutes. From there, the ‘El Salado’ campsite can be reached on foot from the port of Caleta de Sebo following the s sandy streets, since there are no paved roads on this island. In this town you can stock up on all the necessary provisions for your camping. To the south, where the town ends, you will find a small house with services and then the camping area, delimited by poles that indicate the number of the plot.

The campsite is located on the second line of the beach, which is easily accessed from the camping area. El Salado is a very extensive isolated beach, and its calm waters promise an ideal break for the whole family. With its fine white sand, this rustic beach of almost two kilometres, it is a paradise for relaxation. You will be delighted with the views to the Risco de Famara of Lanzarote and, in addition, you can enjoy splendid sunsets.

How to make a camping reservation in La Graciosa?

  7. Comfortable footwear for walks on sandy roads and beaches

  8. Food that does not require cooking (fires, barbecues, the use of gas bottles, stoves, etc. are not allowed). Likewise, in Caleta de Sebo you can eat at the bars or look for products in the supermarket.
